The Perfect Winter Wedding

My first 2009 wedding took me to for Sara and Nick's wedding the Timberline Lodge at the top of Mt. Hood on a perfectly powdery winter day. The main highway was shut down due to a mudslide so we drove up the back of the mountain and the snowy trees made it clear how beautiful it was going to be at the top. The ceremony was held in the Raven's Nest room with high, wooden vaulted ceilings and a great candle light glow.
















It was a fun wedding full of family and fun friends. Thanks, and congratulations Sara and Nick!

Mt. Rainer Adventure Wedding!!

Kelly and Chris O'Dell are big National Parks people. So this summer they and their lovely families came all the way from New York to say their vows at the top of Mt. Rainer. The very top. We headed up to Sunrise Point where the officiants from We Do I Dos led the ceremony. The reception was held at the Alpine Inn at the Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. The whole thing was a great adventure and both families were so nice to be around. I had a great time. A lot of driving but so many breathtaking views and stunning photos to be had!
