A bright, bright sunshiny night

Tonight I ventured out to Tacoma (and beyond) for a bridal shoot with Nala and Jimmy at Sunnyside Beach. We got started a little late but it worked out for the best as we also scored a beautiful sunset. The beach faces west and I had a lot of fun shooting for silhouettes and some stellar sunflares. Nala and Jimmy are getting married on August 7th so check back later for their wedding photos. They have a packed day planned with a morning Tea Ceremony near Tacoma, and Church wedding in Renton and a reception planned for Seattle.

I met Elise and Linh at the University of Washington for their engagement portraits. We took a nice tour of the campus and got some really fun photos of the two of them together. They are a fun-loving couple!

Stephanie and Steve's Engagement Portraits - Pike Place Market

Stephanie and Steve picked the Pike Place Market for their engagement photos. Our first trip down to the market proved to be so windy, because there was a storm moving in that we had to reschedule for the following week. That proved to be a good plan because the next week when we met up the sun was shining and the wind was gone, it was a perfect spring day! Photos:












I'm looking forward to their May wedding at the Jardin del Sol in Snohomish! Here's hoping for a perfect summer day for their wedding!

Engagement portraits at the Evergreen Arboretum

I met Hannah and Jeff the Snohomish wedding tour in May and they were the winners of a free engagement session from my wedding show drawing. We chose the Evergreen Arboretum at Legion Memorial Park in Everett where the gardens were in full bloom. We had pretty good timing, finishing our photos just before another wedding got going.
