Labor day weekend is a traditionally rainy weekend, ask anyone who frequents the Bumbershoot music festival. This year was no exception. I was up bright and early on Saturday making my way down to Tacoma for Tara and Vince's wedding and it was pouring! The wedding was to be in the gardens of Point Defiance Park and I thought we were in for a very wet, or quickly relocated ceremony. By 11am when we headed out from Tara's grandmother towards the ceremony the rain subsided, and by the time the wedding began the sun was out and everything looked perfect. They found a fantastic spot in the gardens, right near the rose gardens and the ceremony was full of wiggly children, beautiful words and music and plenty of laughs.
