Some fellow photographers and I headed up to BC to take in some of the winter games. I mean, how often is something like this within driving distance! The atmosphere was amazing! Red and white everywhere, tons of people... it was quite the experience. We saw the Olympic torch, visited the Francophone district, discovered a great new beer and watched Canada take gold while sitting in a bar full of Canadians from just blocks away from where the action taking place. Pretty cool.

Vancouver is a beautiful city, some of the architecture was just amazing.
We stayed with some friends of a friend who lived in an amazing house across the street from this park near UBC. Many thanks to them for giving us a place to stay.
